This popped up from 8 years ago when my friend , Jody, gave me this ticket stub… this always makes me laugh with retrospect… But I would’ve smacked his ass at the time, had I known. Boy do I miss that kid
My friend,Jody, gave me this sentimental ticket stub…This Isn’t just any ticket stub… It has a story behind it… And it’s one of those stories that if Jamie was still alive I would smack his butt for this but all I can do is smile now…
So, according to the date on this ticket, 13 years ago, Jamie McHenry and his friends, nick, Tyler and Joseph, Went to go see the horror movie, “Mama”. Afterwards, they went back to Tyler’s house to spend the night in The Davis’ basement. Jamie, who was so freaked out and scared by that movie…he woke up in the middle the night and had to go to the bathroom. Instead of going right down the hall to use the restroom, he instead, being so scared, grabbed a glass behind the Davis’ basement bar and peed in it. It turns out that the glass he chose was one of Tony’s ( Tyler’s dad) prized collection glasses from the Falcons.
I came early that next morning to pick up Jamie for lacrosse practice. I remember Jamie telling me how scary the movie was, but of course he left off the story about peeing in the cup….
After I picked him up, Tyler, Nick and Joe saw the cup full of pee and they started screaming for Jody to come down and get rid of it bc none of the boys wanted to touch it.
Jody never told me the story until after Jamie passed away… Jody found that ticket stub, the year after Jamie died, while she was vacuuming , under the basement couch, and gave it to me and told me…the rest of the story.
