About the race

The RocketShot 5K run is a race that was created for two purposes – to aid in immortalizing Jamie, and to act as a fundraiser for the foundation. The run itself occurs annually in August and is based out of Centennial High School. Registration typically opens in the May before.  The run begins and ends at Centennial High School stadium.  We have musical acts along the race route to keep you going and entertained!!!

All proceeds are used to award youth athletic scholarships , character awards and school improvements in the North Fulton area.  The race includes 5k race with over $500 in Dick’s Sporting Goods Bonus Cash for winners, a Fun Run for the kids (with medals for all participants), live music on the race route, food and refreshments back at the stadium, a silent auction and a raffle.
